Hurricane Shelters

West Baton Rouge Parish is located in shelter State Shelter Section C. Shelter Sections A and B are in North Louisiana. As shelters in Sections A and B fill up shelters in WBR Parish will be opened. Local Residents will be notified by the Cable Override System and by Local TV of when the Shelters are opened.

Chemical Emergencies

If you must be evacuated because of a Chemical Emergency you will be notified which shelter will be open for your area by the Public Alert System.
